Use of external website information embedded within
Some of the articles on this site may have embedded media (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). To the user, it appears as though they have visited the other website in which the embedded material originally appeared.
If you have an account on one of these sites and are logged in, it is possible that the site will gather information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your engagement with the embedded material.
We will only give your information to the following parties:
Your IP address will be included in the password reset email if you request one.
Data Retention Period
The remark and associated metadata will be stored indefinitely if you leave one. This way, any subsequent comments won’t need to wait in a moderation queue, and we’ll be able to approve them immediately upon detection.
We also collect and keep the personal information users supply in their user profile if they want to register on our website. User profiles are completely editable and removable at the user’s discretion (except they cannot change their username). Website admins have access to that data as well.
The control you have over your information
If you have an account here or have posted comments, you can request to have an exported file of the personal data we possess about you, including any data you have contributed to us. In addition, you have the right to have us delete all of your personal information. Not included are records which we are required to keep for reasons of administration, law, or security.
Your information’s destination
A spam detection bot could be used to examine visitor comments.
